Welcome to Meat Delicacy ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using our website (meat-delicacy.vercel.app), mobile application, or any related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use our Platform.
These Terms govern your purchase of fresh meat, poultry, seafood, and specialty products offered by Meat Delicacy and its delivery partners across India. Please read them carefully.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or place an order.
- By using the Platform you represent that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
- Meat Delicacy reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel orders at its sole discretion if eligibility requirements are not met.
2. Account Registration & Security
- You may be required to register an account using a valid email address or phone number and to authenticate via OTP or a supported third-party provider (e.g. Google).
- You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us immediately at support@meatdelicacy.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.
- We will not be liable for any loss arising from your failure to keep your credentials secure.
3. Products & Product Information
- All products listed on the Platform are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time without prior notice.
- Product images are for illustrative purposes only. Actual appearance, weight, and cut may vary slightly due to the natural characteristics of fresh produce.
- Weights displayed are pre-cleaned, approximate net weights. Final delivered weight may vary within ±5% due to natural trimming and moisture loss.
- We source our products from certified suppliers and abide by applicable food safety regulations. All products are halal-certified where indicated.
- Customers with specific dietary requirements, allergies, or religious dietary restrictions are advised to read product descriptions carefully and contact us before ordering.
4. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.
- We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time you place the order.
- Payments are processed through secure, PCI-DSS-compliant third-party payment gateways. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
- Accepted payment methods include UPI, debit/credit cards, net banking, and wallets where available. Cash on delivery may be available in select pin codes.
- In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund. We will notify you promptly in such cases.
5. Orders & Cancellations
- Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. Your order is confirmed once you receive an order-confirmation notification from us.
- Orders may be cancelled by the customer within 30 minutes of placement. Once the order enters the "Preparing" or later status, cancellation is not possible.
- Meat Delicacy reserves the right to cancel any order due to product unavailability, delivery constraints, suspected fraudulent activity, or force majeure events. A full refund will be issued in all such cases.
- Repeated cancellations may result in temporary or permanent suspension of your account.
6. Delivery
- We currently deliver within our serviceable pin codes in India. Delivery availability is subject to change. Enter your pin code at checkout to confirm serviceability.
- Estimated delivery times are indicative only. Actual delivery may vary due to traffic, weather, high-demand periods, or other unforeseen circumstances.
- Fresh and perishable products must be received in person. If no one is available to receive the delivery, the rider will attempt to contact you. Undelivered perishable orders will not be re-attempted and may not be eligible for a refund.
- We are not liable for losses arising from delivery addresses provided incorrectly by the customer.
- Risk of loss and title to products passes to you upon successful delivery to the provided address.
7. Refunds & Returns
- Given the perishable nature of our products, we do not accept physical returns. All claims must be raised within 2 hours of delivery.
- If you receive a product that is damaged, spoiled, incorrect, or significantly different from what was ordered, contact us at support@meatdelicacy.com with photographic evidence.
- Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. UPI and wallet refunds may reflect sooner.
- We reserve the right to decline refund requests where the claim cannot be substantiated or where misuse is suspected.
8. Food Safety & Quality Standards
- All our products comply with the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) regulations. Our FSSAI Licence number is displayed on all packaging.
- Products are stored and transported under controlled temperature conditions to maintain freshness and safety from farm to doorstep.
- We recommend consuming fresh meat products within 24 hours of delivery. For longer storage, refrigerate at 0–4°C or freeze immediately.
- Always cook meat to the recommended internal temperatures before consumption. Meat Delicacy is not liable for illness resulting from improper handling or cooking by the customer.
9. Intellectual Property
- All content on the Platform — including text, images, logos, product photographs, UI elements, and software — is the exclusive intellectual property of Meat Delicacy or its licensors.
- You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any content without our prior written consent.
- You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
10. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information including fake reviews, fraudulent payment details, or incorrect delivery addresses.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its underlying systems.
- Engage in any activity that disrupts, damages, or places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
- Resell or commercially exploit any products purchased through our Platform without our written consent.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or extract data from the Platform.
11. Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data in compliance with applicable Indian data protection laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. By using the Platform, you consent to our privacy practices as described therein.
12. Third-Party Services
- The Platform may integrate with third-party services including payment gateways, authentication providers, and analytics tools. These services have their own terms and privacy policies.
- We are not responsible for the practices or content of any third-party service. Links to external websites do not constitute our endorsement.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform and all products and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Meat Delicacy, its directors, employees, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or any products purchased through it. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Meat Delicacy and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
- Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties.
- If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat of arbitration in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
- Nothing in this clause shall prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.
17. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after such notification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
18. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or the integrity of the Platform. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.
19. Severability & Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
